Bridge SE is the key role in our Japan–Vietnam delivery model. You will translate not only language but also work culture — turning ambiguous client requests into clear specifications for developers.
Responsibilities
- Participate in daily calls with Japanese clients, translating technical discussions bi-directionally.
- Write and review requirements documentation in Japanese.
- Ensure the Vietnam team understands business context and client expectations accurately.
- Assist engineers in technical presentations before Japanese clients.
Requirements
- JLPT N2 or higher (N1 preferred).
- 4+ years of software development or Bridge SE experience.
- Able to read and write technical documents in Japanese.
- Deep understanding of code and architecture — not just a translator.
Nice to Have
- Onsite experience in Japan for 6+ months.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum in Japanese business environments.
